Wow! Sunday night’s Community Soup-er and “Love Your Downtown” Raffle awards were such a success. Thanks to 14 restaurateurs, more than 25 volunteers, talented bowl and plate makers (and their teachers), and about 200 attendees, our community will be able to contribute $2000 to Seeds of Hope Neighborhood Center. This will enable food service for two weeks for neighbors who use the center!
Heart of Biddeford’s Love Your Downtown Raffle drew a lot of attention, and we are so grateful to all of the businesses that donated as well as all the people who purchased tickets! Congrats to the 7 lucky winners! We hope they Love Their Downtown!

Restaurant Week is one week away and what better way to prepare your palate than sampling delicious soups — plus, biscuits from Biscuits & Company and snowflake rolls from Reilly’s Bakery too!
Join Heart of Biddeford on March 8th for the Annual Community Soup-er. Try your soup in beautiful bowls made by Biddeford’s 5th graders! Tickets are $10 and entitle you two servings of soup, plus biscuits or bread. The family price is $25 (for family of up to 4).
Get your tickets from EventBrite this year, so we can accommodate more folks, with a 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. shift! Doors open at 4 p.m., so feel free to pop in early!! Walk-ins are welcome anytime after 4 p.m.!
At 6 p.m., in the midst of the party, we’ll draw the Prize Packages, and $1500 Cash Prize for Heart of Biddeford’s annual raffle! Whether you’re at the event, just finished dining or about to dine, you can still hang out and listen to music when we do the drawing!
We will have soft jazz piano and muted horn by two Saco students, Liam Scott and Jamison Baker, followed by acoustic rock music by Erik Howell.
A shout of thanks to our sponsor – Saco & Biddeford Savings. A special thank you to the Pepperell Mill Campus for donation of the space for this community event! This event is made extra special due to the loving care from local restaurateurs who are donating soup and breads!
