    Biddeford Reimagined: Call for Art Application
    May 13 – May 18, 2019

    The Heart of Biddeford Design Committee invites artists to submit work for the Biddeford Reimagined show to be displayed in windows on Main Street from May 24 – July 5th. Inspired by the Masters: What if Van Gogh had visited Biddeford? Or Edward Hopper? Using the landscape and buildings of Biddeford as your inspiration, choose one of the styles or techniques listed below and create a work of art inspired by one of the Masters in that style. Works will be displayed in various storefronts along Main Street in Biddeford. Deadline is May 18th, 2019.

    Styles/ Example of Artists: (Entries are not limited to the specific artists listed below.)

    • Realism:…Hopper
    • Pointillism Modernism: … Paul Signac
    • Impressionism: … Monet, Van Gogh
    • Abstract Art:: … Kandinsky
    • Expressionism:: … Edvard Munch

    • Surrealism: … Salvatore Dali

    Open to all ages, amateurs or professionals.

    DROP OFF:

    Monday, May 13th through May 17th 10 am – 2 pm and Saturday, May 18 from 11am-2pm (no late deliveries please) at the Heart of Biddeford Office. 205 Main Street, Suite 103.

    Artwork will be picked up at the HOB office from Monday, July 8 – Saturday, July 13, 10am -2pm at the Heart of Biddeford office.
