Biddeford and Saco – The second annual RiverJam Festival on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015 will feature New England’s top bands in two locations along the beautiful Saco River: Biddeford’s Mechanics Park from Noon-5:30, then right across Main Street on Saco Island from 7:45-10:30. The RiverJam Festival is part of the “Two Cities: One River” bridge dedication and celebration that will take place on Saco Island starting at 10 a.m.
“The pedestrian bridge has helped our two cities of Biddeford and Saco to realize how connected we are by this river, right in the heart of the mills,” says RiverJam organizer Delilah Poupore of the Heart of Biddeford. “The RiverJamFestival will be a great celebration of this beautiful place with music and a fun atmosphere on both sides of the river.”
