2024 Brand Update

In 2024, Heart of Biddeford celebrated two major milestones: it’s 20th anniversary and the unveiling of a refreshed brand identity!

Since it’s humble beginning in the early 2000’s, Heart of Biddeford has evolved from a grassroots movement into a significant community influencer. To ensure our visual identity reflects this incredible growth and evolution, HOB’s Strategic Communications Committee embarked on a brand refresh journey, which you can read more about in our case study.

The updated brand you see today features a vibrant palette inspired by the Victoria Gordon-painted mural in the HOB office. Committee member Kanya Zillmer of Seven Tree Co. used the mural for inspiration as she created a hand-drawn illustration and custom-designed font, creating a friendly and approachable look that embodies the spirit of downtown Biddeford. The heart symbol remains central, symbolizing the vibrancy, vitality, and community spirit that are core to HOB’s mission.
