Downtown Biddeford Juneteenth Celebration at The Foundry

Join the City of Biddeford's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, the Maine Black Chamber of Commerce, and Heart of Biddeford to celebrate Black freedom, culture, resilience, and joy with food, music and guest speakers. Friends, families and allies welcome!

We’re bringing the vibes with music by DJ B.Aull, delicious eats from Soul Food Paradise, and powerful storytelling from local historian Bob Greene. This event is free and open to those who identify as Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color (BIPOC), their families and community allies.

Biddeford Homecomecomings Tour: Special Juneteenth Edition

In addition to our celebration at The Foundry, we also invite the community to join us earlier in the afternoon for a free, abbreviated version of the new Biddeford Homecomings Tour! The Biddeford Homecomings Tour is a guided walking tour of Biddeford's vibrant Main Street, blending local food, history, art, and global stories. This 90-minute tour will begin at 1:30pm and culminate at the Juneteenth Celebration, starting at 3pm.

Both the Juneteenth Celebration and the Biddeford Homecomings Tour are free to attend, but please register in advance using the links below.

Vendors: We’re excited to highlight BIPOC owned businesses, makers, artists, and creatives at this community event. Table registration is FREE to BIPOC vendors (must be available for setup at 2pm and breakdown by 5:30pm). Click here for more info and to register.
