About The Program
As Maine’s youngest city, Heart of Biddeford wants to better engage with our city’s youth. We are looking to partner with local teens for a 5-week paid opportunity to help us. Participants will plan a youth activity for River Jam Fest and direct our social media campaigns to appeal to a younger audience. Complete the online application by July 10th if you met the requirements are are interested!

Expectations
- Help Heart of Biddeford launch its TikTok Profile
- Create 12 videos total, which is 3 videos a week that will be posted on both your personal TikTok profile and Heart of Biddeford’s TikTok
- Plan and implement a youth activity for Heart of Biddeford’s River Jam Festival.
Requirements
- (A) Attend Biddeford High School and/or (B) live in Biddeford/Saco area.
- Be able to meet 1.5 hours weekly from July 18, 2022, to August 27, 2022, at Heart of Biddeford. Bus passes can be provided if needed.
- Be available on Saturday, August 20, 2022, for the River Jam Festival.
- Have a personal TikTok account that they will be willing to post Heart of Biddeford material on
- Have a personal cell phone that can be used
- Guardian permission acquired
Timeline
- Application due at 11:59 EST on July 10, 2022
- Interviews scheduled on July 11, 2022 to July 12, 2022
- 20-minute Zoom interviews scheduled for July 13, 2022
Program Dates: July 18, 2022, to August 27, 2022. Stipends will be distributed the last week.
