The Biddeford Mills Museum works to preserve the rich heritage of Biddeford's historic mill complex in honor of all who worked there, and to strengthen the community’s knowledge of mill history.

The Museum collects, restores, and displays artifacts to help people understand and appreciate the area's history, its relevance today, and its benefits for future generations.
Walking tours of the mills are available at various times throughout the year for both groups and individuals. These tours are often guided by former mill workers and allow visitors to see the unique architecture of a cotton house, walk among the towering walls of a weave shed, and visit the underground canals where the Saco River once powered these historic textile mills.
