    IMPORTANT UPDATE: OKTOBERFEST POSTPONED

    Due to the weather forecast for this weekend, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our Oktoberfest celebration to Saturday, October 3, 2026.

    We understand that changing the date may be an inconvenience, and we appreciate your understanding as we make this decision with the safety and enjoyment of our guests, volunteers, vendors, and staff in mind.

    Due to the upfront event costs already incurred, tickets will not be eligible for refunds. However, you are welcome to transfer your tickets to someone else. Either print out and give/sell them your ticket, or contact us at (207) 284-8520 with the new guest’s information at least 24 hours prior to the event.

    If you are unable to attend and cannot transfer your ticket to someone else, we still want you to receive something for your purchase. You may stop by the Heart of Biddeford office during regular office hours until the end of October to pick up your Oktoberfest-branded stein. VIP ticket holders will also receive their alpine hat.

    About Oktoberfest

    Join us for Biddeford’s Fourth Annual Oktoberfest, now taking place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 1:00–6:00 PM, with VIP early access beginning at 12:00 PM!

    Heart of Biddeford is bringing one of Germany’s most beloved traditions to Downtown Biddeford for an afternoon of great beer, delicious food, live music, games, and community fun.

    We’ll be transforming Lincoln Street into a festive Oktoberfest celebration featuring a wide selection of craft beer and other beverages, local food vendors, live entertainment, Oktoberfest-inspired activities, and family-friendly attractions.

    Whether you’re a craft beer enthusiast, a foodie, a music lover, or simply looking for a fun day out with friends and family, Biddeford Oktoberfest has something for everyone.

    Ticket Types

    • VIP Early Access: $45
      • The first hour of Oktoberfest (12-1pm) will be VIP guests only (100 max), giving you a fast pass to beat the crowds and get to the front of the beer line! Your VIP Early Access ticket also includes a branded stein, two drink tickets, an Oktoberfest sticker, and an alpine hat!
    • General Admission: $30
      • A GA ticket gets you into the event from 1-6pm, a branded stein, and two drink tickets.
    • Non-Drinker/Under 21: $10
      • Event entry only;  includes access to food trucks, entertainment, and games & activities. You cannot purchase extra beer tickets with the “non-drinker” ticket.
    • Kids 12 and Under: Free.

    A very limited number of entry tickets will be available for $35 at the door the day of the event. Additional drink tickets will be available for purchase on site.

    • Event Hours
      • VIP Admission: 12:00 PM–1:00 PM (VIP ticket holders only)
      • General Admission: Begins at 1:00 PM
      • Event Ends: 6:00 PM
    • Location: Biddeford Oktoberfest takes place outdoors on Lincoln Street, between Main Street and Pearl Street in Downtown Biddeford.
    • Please Bring Your Ticket & ID: Have your ticket (printed or on your mobile device) and a valid government-issued photo ID ready for check-in.
    • Rain or Shine: Oktoberfest will take place rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.
    • Parking: The Pearl Street Parking Garage (15 Pearl Street) is a short walk from the festival entrance. Additional parking information is available at biddefordmaine.org/visitorparking.
    • Free Bike Valet: Once again our friends at Bike BS will be offering Oktoberfest attendees complimentary bike parking for the entirety of the event!     • Dogs Welcome: Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome. For the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, we reserve the right to ask any dog to leave if it becomes disruptive or cannot be appropriately controlled.

    No Oktoberfest celebration would be complete without great drinks, and this year’s lineup features a variety of local favorites. Guests can enjoy craft beer from some of Maine’s most popular breweries, along with wine and cider options for those looking for something different.

    Dog Costume Parade

    Four-legged friends are invited to join the fun! The Oktoberfest Dog Costume Parade returns this year, bringing plenty of tail wags, laughs, and photo-worthy moments to downtown Biddeford.

    Dress your pup in their Oktoberfest best—lederhosen, dirndls, seasonal attire, silly costumes, or simply their natural charm—and join fellow dog lovers for this crowd-favorite tradition. Whether your dog is dressed to impress or just along for the adventure, all friendly, leashed pups are welcome to participate.

    The parade is free to enter and promises plenty of opportunities for adorable photos, community fun, and celebrating the season with your favorite furry companion

    Temporary Road Closure Notice – Oktoberfest 2026: Please note that a section of Lincoln Street, from Main Street to Saco Falls Way, will be closed to vehicle traffic on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM for the event. Lincoln Street will remain open from the Elm Street end, and cars can travel unimpeded to Saco Falls Way, Pearl Street, the Pearl Street Parking Garage and the various Mill properties. Stone street will remain accessible from Pearl Street.
