Seeing Orange Update #14 Week of July 20th

The following is to provide you with information of what to expect on Route 1 in Biddeford this upcoming week. Please note that this is a projected schedule of what to expect and is subject to change due to weather, work progress and/or other circumstances.

Completed Work:

Elm Street Sewer Pipe Installation is officially completed, as well as the water main installation.

Maine Dot has completed the pavement of the travel lanes and shoulders, on Route 1/ Elm Street . In the current pavement process, the week of July 20th, the side road and driveway entrances are being completed; this is expected to several days.

Future Work:

Future work on Route 1/ Elm is not anticipated to affect travel or traffic patterns, since most of the work will take place below ground or away from the travel surfaces.

Once Maine DOT completes the final pavement of route 1/ Elm Street the contractor can enter the manhole covers to construct underground flow channels. Then comes the final clean up and inspection.
