With 20 years of experience leading non-profits and higher educational departments in organizational development and strategic planning, Delilah enjoys coordinating all of Heart of Biddeford’s volunteer efforts that contribute to Biddeford’s revitalization! Delilah has served in this role since January of 2011.

Leinani Farnsworth

Leinani joined the organization as Assistant Director in 2025, bringing a strong background in nonprofit work and community engagement. She is deeply committed to supporting local businesses, fostering civic pride, and promoting inclusive participation across the community. In her role, Leinani collaborates with staff, volunteers, and local partners to advance the organization’s mission, strengthen programs and committees, and bring vibrant community events to life!

Laura Lyman

Office Manager

Laura Lyman

Originally from Upstate NY, Laura moved to Maine with her family in 2021. She has enjoyed working with nonprofit organizations throughout her career and is excited to be part of the Biddaissance! Serving as HOB's Office Manager since September of 2023, Laura works to keep the office running smoothly and efficiently while supporting staff and volunteers in creating a positive, productive work environment.

Scott Thibeau

Scott, a devoted father, husband, successful business owner, and respected veteran, currently resides in Biddeford and is the owner of aTris Real Estate Group. In addition to being a licensed Realtor, Scott and his wife Nicole own Miles of Smiles Childcare Center, located on Elm Street in Biddeford. Since 2013, he has been an invaluable member of the board, leveraging his expertise and insights. Notably, he played a pivotal role in the successful redevelopment of the Pepperell Mill Campus from 2013 to 2018.

Hailee Flaherty

Hailee Flaherty

Hailee Flaherty's connection to Biddeford started when she attended, and later taught, tumbling classes here at a locally-owned business in 2012. Hailee felt a connection to the people of Biddeford, their tight-knit community, and the small businesses, particularly working for one herself. This connection only grew stronger with her work at Southern Maine Health Care, where she serves as a Development Coordinator, working to plan events and raise funds to support the hospital and the local community.

Dan St. Pierre

Dan St. Pierre

Dan is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business with thirty years of experience in corporate finance and entrepreneurship. He is the CFO and Co-founder of Hyperlite Mountain Gear, a Biddeford-based company that designs and sells high-tech, lightweight outdoor gear. His career spans roles at major corporations like Moody’s and Bristol-Myers Squibb, startup consulting, and a personal journey through India exploring yoga, meditation, and creative development.

Briana Campbell

Briana Campbell

Briana is the co-owner, with her husband Jon Phillips, of Biddeford's Time & Tide Coffee, a roaster and cafe, and she is also a downtown Biddeford resident. She walked into the Heart of Biddeford office on the first day she lived in town! Before her 2018 move to Biddeford, she lived in Brooklyn, NY and worked in advertising as a strategist and planner, with a focus on social media and digital campaigns.

Marianne Clarke

Marianne Clarke

After many years of vacationing in Biddeford, Marianne Clarke moved from Washington, DC to Biddeford full-time in 2010. She spent her career helping state governments, universities and regional development organizations to develop and implement strategies and programs to encourage technology-based economic development. Besides the HOB Board, she also serves as Chair of the Business Enhancement Committee.

Marc Feldman

Marc Feldman

Marc Feldman is the founder and driving force behind Biddeford's premiere coworking space, Biddeford Coworking. Marc is a longtime member of the local business community and has had an interest in coworking for years, since using one while visiting his son at college.

Ian Garcia-Theriault

Board member

Ian Garcia-Theriault

Ian Garcia-Theriault was born in Los Angeles but has spent most of his life living in Maine, and has been in Biddeford since 2019. He graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington with a degree in English literature.

He has since worked in various fields and now works as the Director of Content Creation and SEO at Local Image Co in Portland, ME.

Ma-Li Guillerault

Ma-Li Guillerault

Originally from Taiwan, Ma-Li has been a Biddeford resident since the ‘70s and she loves the Maine climate and environment in every aspect. Ma-Li worked in banking for 40 years and recently retired from Maine Community Bank (formerly Biddeford Savings Bank). In addition to HOB, she also serves as the Treasurer for Northern York County Toys for Tots.

Eisha Khan

Eisha Khan

Eisha serves as the program manager for Oncology services at MaineHealth. Since moving to Biddeford in 2019, Eisha has actively participated in community initiatives. Serving on HOB’s Board gives Eisha the opportunity to join efforts with thought leaders to foster a more welcoming environment and assess how we, as a city, can be conscious of global impacts and take action in our community.

David Kurtz

David Kurtz

David grew up in Biddeford and is just very proud to live here. He spent time as a business consultant in Boston and a corporate lawyer in New York, then returned home to manage the Maine branch of a national law firm. He currently represents Biddeford's 5th Ward to City Council. He lives with his partner, Dr. Dani Rondeau of Maine Veterinary Internal Medicine, and their two very silly cats.

Joe McKenney

Joe McKenney

Joe is the proud owner of McKenney Photography and has served as HOB's Promotion Committee Chair for a decade, helping to make events like River Jam, Music in the Park, Restaurant Week, and the Downtown Holiday Fest possible—often volunteering his photographic talents to the events. Joe's commitment to service in his hometown also includes serving as Biddeford's Recreation Commission Chair, during which time he received the Maine Recreation and Park Association's 2021 Citizen Volunteer of the Year award.

Nasreen Sheikh-Yousef

Nasreen Sheikh-Yousef

Nasreen has been deeply engaged in community organizing and is currently working to support individuals experiencing homelessness and major mental illnesses. Her background includes significant experience in community organizing and policy development.

Phil Smith

Phil Smith

Phil lives in Old Orchard Beach and works on Main Street at Paquin & Carroll Insurance as a Commercial Insurance Account Executive. He has a CIC (Certified Insurance Councilor) Designation. Phil joined the Board because he has a passion for helping his local community. He feels with everyone’s help we can all make the load a little lighter. Also a member of Rotary and a Football Official, Phil loves to see a vibrant downtown!

Sam Smithwick

Sam Smithwick

Proud HOB board member, Sam Smithwick has been an educator in Southern Maine for over 15 years. Sam works closely with Biddeford's thriving population of New Mainers as an English Language Coordinator at Biddeford Adult Education, as well as the local organizations that support and celebrate their culture and contributions to the magical city they now call home.
